I am a student and have been assigned DENMARK as a culture to teach my class about. I need some Danish recipes for a culture fair booth on Jan 8.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Is there a Danish section at JJ? I am in Dayton so I cant just run down there quickly and easily.

Thanks so much.

Stacie

Kringle is probably the most famous of the original Danish pastries. You can buy the puff
pastry dough (not filo dough) at JJ's in the Italian/Greek refrigerator case and save youself a ton of work. There are a couple of recipes for it on www.FoodNetwork.com. Just type kringle into the search box. JJ's might even have some in the bakery dept., although I haven't checked.

Good Luck! Wink
