I am a student and have been assigned DENMARK as a culture to teach my class about. I need some Danish recipes for a culture fair booth on Jan 8.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there a Danish section at JJ? I am in Dayton so I cant just run down there quickly and easily. Thanks so much. Stacie |

Kringle is probably the most famous of the original Danish pastries. You can buy the puff
pastry dough (not filo dough) at JJ's in the Italian/Greek refrigerator case and save youself a ton of work. There are a couple of recipes for it on www.FoodNetwork.com. Just type kringle into the search box. JJ's might even have some in the bakery dept., although I haven't checked. Good Luck! |
