I noticed on Jungle Jim's website in the Seafood department, there's mention of the different types of smoked fish available. I've seen the smoked salmon, trout and scallops in the store, but haven't seen the smoked eel yet, and I'd love to try some.
Is there a specific day they make it, or am I just missing it each time? |

Even when they are out of the "home made" smoked eel, check the Oriental frozen food section just across from the seafood department. They almost always have Japanese or Korean eel in sauce. Frozen, but delicious!!

My mother is a smoked eel fan. She accompanied me on a trip to the Jungle in November 05, and we were able to find some. However, I have no idea if it is available on a daily basis.
