Just this past Saturday, 5/12/07, several friends gathered in Ohion.

A trip to Jungle Jim's was a high point on the agenda. We came from Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, and I myself from Kansas.

We also gathered last year, and this time I couldn't WAIT to come back to Jungle Jim's. Took a lot of good stuff home with me.

I wish I could shop there more often. The olives, cheese and Australian candies were places I headed, along with the bakery, Oetker baking products, and the meat department. I wanted to bring some goetta back to Kansas, having become acquianted with it last year, and not having any place to get it in Kansas.

Can't wait until next year.

I'll be back in May, probably the weekend before Memorial Day. Our group of friends is gathering again in Ohio.

I wonder if there are any special events that weekend? I got the email about the wine tasting, but it was too far to drive from Kansas. Shucks.
