I find it odd, with all the natural food items that they have, they don't make any 100% whole wheat breads! I'm always looking at the bakery, and have even asked, but alas, no totally whole grain breads.

Great....I hope you find a recipe that works! Really that's the only thing I was disappointed with at JJ....I love everything else. But I do have to go to Trader Joe's or Whole Foods for my whole wheat bread (or make it myself). Yes, I know whole wheat is one of the most difficult breads to make taste good.....good luck!

I purchased some of the amish 9 grain wheat bread from the bakery it was great. Dont know if it was made there but it was great

We have tried a 100% Whole Wheat recipe in the past and had no luck with a quality product. I have talked with my Bakers and they are going to try and develop a recipe that may work for us.

Yes, I know you carry 100% whole wheat bread. But I wanted to know why, with a bakery "in house" you do not make your own?? I'd rather have fresh bread when I don't want to make it myself.

And not to leave out our American Grocery selections of 100% Whole Wheat Breads:
Located on Aisle 10 you can find that Nickles, Pepperidge Farms, Wonderbread, Butter Nut Roman Meal, Brownberry Whole Grains, Klosterman European Harvest, Brownberry Natural, and Natures Pride brands all have 100% Whole Wheat, 100% Natural or 100% Whole Grain Wheat varieties of breads. |

We carry 100% whole wheat rolls from King's Hawaiian Bread. It is located in the bakery on the display where most of the pita bread is.

I have a bread brand "Food for Life". It is 100% organic whole wheat flour, unprocessed wheat bran, ..... It is located in the Natural Foods' freezer.
