Hi. Does anyone know if JJ's carries Coffee with Chicory? i used to buy Nescafe instant coffee with chicory (tasted great, even for instant!), but they no longer put chicory in it.i am interested in any brand of ground coffee with chicory in it. Thanks. any information will be greatly appreciated!

I'm with you there. I had iced coffee at Cafe Du Monde during a trip down there but we never made it back for the chicory coffee.

I have never heard of or had this type of coffee. What does it taste like?

Yes we do still carry a chicory blend called New Orleans Blend, by Community Coffee. They also make a plain chicory, in a bag form, that is with the other Community Coffee items in International Aisle 7, where the yellow aisle markers are across from the pasta items as mentioned in the above email. We are sometimes out of stock when they do not have it to send on our orders, but will continue to carry it. We also have the brand Cafe Du Monde. It is the #1 seller.

Find where JJ's has put Community brand coffee. I think I saw it opposite the Barrila pasta last time I was there. I know they used to have a coffee & chickory blend, but it wasn't instant. If memory serves, they had plain chickory as well too.

Whitey is right that Cafe du Monde has some too. I know of their chickory blend, just not sure if there is a coffee & chickory combo. But I have purchased the Community brand's version.

I saw that they had a display of Cafe du Monde on Saturday. Perhaps there are more choices as well. They are very helpful in the wine/coffee department. I believe the CdM was back in the international grocery section.
