Hi

I've tried several sauces lately and will offer my own humble opinion:

Trappy's Red Devil Cayenne: Rating 0 *A supreme disappointment. I was really looking forward to this sauce thinking it to be a hotter version of the typical Lousiana-style sauce. Plus it comes from a storied company. What a suprise! Ketchup has more heat than this stuff. I ate it with Chicken Fingers and Fries and used about 2 oz in one sitting! A great sauce for beginers who don't like hot stuff, everyone else forget it!

Valentina extra hot: Rating 8 *Excellent sauce!Chiliheads will find it mild, but for others this stuff has excellent burn and maskes its flavor in food so it doesn't overpower them. Best in soup, chili and spaghetti.

Lousianna Supreme Jalapeno: Rating 1 * A little burn, but in a flat tasting sauce. Its okay as a dip and almost undetectable in soups and Chili.

Tabasco Habanero: Rating 8 * Trust me, its hot! There is plenty of burn in this sauce. Unfortunately, the taste is pretty crappy compared to other Habaneros. I like it in chili and soup and its good on Whoppers.

Tabasco Garlic: Rating 10 * Not super hot, chiliheads may boo now. This sauce gets a ten because it is hot and tastes great! Excelent with Itallian food.

Here's my two good ol' stand by me sauces:

Texas Pete: Rating 3* Like my baby bottle, this was my first hot sauce. As a kid, I used to find this sauce firey, but today its barely hot enough to taste. A good beginer sauce, still one of the BEST on eggs, but too weak for chili or soup unlessyou want to eat the whole bottle.

Yucatan Sunshine: Rating 7 * Again, not super hot, but an excellent Habanero sauce. It carries all of the Habanero's famous fruity taste. Decent burn. Great for dipping and on foods.

I'l post again later with some more comments.
