I have to say, every time I'm at Jim's I do take some time in the cheese dept. Last time, my husband & I had just watch the Wallace & Gromit movie "Curse of the Were-Rabbit" (cute family movie, great for kids AND adults). Wallace has a bit of a cheese obsession and mentions Wensleydale cheese. When I went to Jim's and saw the cheese dept. I kept hearing Wallace saying "A bit of Wenslydale would be nice!" So I thought I'd look. Of course Jim's didn't let me down and it was right there in the English section. At room temp, it's a lovely, creamy semi-soft cheese with a bit of a sweet taste. Wonder what I'll try next??
Hello again, I just want to say we did make it there a few days ago, and we got some of teh Wensleydale Cheese and it is very good, my husband even like it. It has a familar taste, i cannot quite remember but maybe we have had it in a dip or spread or something but anyhow it is very good all by itself. Thank you Tarzen6
Hey, that does sound good, I will have to try some of that. My family watched that movie to and thought it was cute as well. Never thought to look for that kind of cheese until you mentioned it. Thanks for a great idea.
