Hey all. I'll be moving to Cincy in october and I can't wait to visit Jungle Jims! I've heard so much about it. (And I LOVE HOT SAUCE!) I was wondering though if any of you would be so kind to email me so I could ask you some questions about the Cincy Area? I am relocating because of my spouses job and we get so few trips out beforehand and research ion the internet doesn't exactly tell it like it is. I'd like to get some info like what the neighborhoods are like ect? So if anyone out there would be so kind as to help a guy out amd would answer some questions I'd appreciate it. Please feel free to contact me via email at freewil@hotmail.com and put Jungle Jims in the subject line. (My name is Will) I'd appreciate any and all help that people could give me especially concerning downtown and the neighborhoods surrounding it.

Thanks and I can't wait to see the mechanical lion that sings Elvis!

Wolfie-
The best advice i can give you is to watch the newscasts online (if you aren't in the area, you can use the online broadcast) of wcpo (channel 9),wkrc (channel 12) and wlwt (channel 5). you can do a google search and find the correct website for all 3 of these stations. Also, you can do a google search and find the crimerates for different cities sourrounding Cincinnati. The city of Cincinnati is working to improve this neighborhood, but Over-the Rhine is a place you would want to avoid as far as permanant living goes... it's also a good idea to lock your car doors also, if driving through there... good luck to you in your transition. You are absolutely going to love the hot sauces at J.J.'s The store is huge now but you can find the hot sauces in the International Dept. under a full size 1950's model fire engine. I rarely get into the Cincinnati area but will say if at all possible avoid the Hamilton area.Good luck on your move.
