Hello Confused

I read, on this site, about David Warda's Book "Assyrian Cookery: Exotic Foods that Outlasted a Civilization". I have been searching for this book but I can't find anyone selling it. Would someone be kind enough to email me or post here...if you know where I can buy this book? That is, if it is for sale.

This is a very interesting and very informative thread of its own unique kind regarding about the Assyrian Cookery and its history in the international cuisine.

Thank you Terri!!!!!!! Smile I don't think I can check it out from the library. I'm in California. But, it is a start & maybe if I beg them to ship it to one of our libraries? Big Grin Infact I believe our library will ask them for me. Don't remember what the process is called but im hoping they swap books from state to state.

We contacted David Warda and unfortunately the book is currently out of print. However, it is available from the Cincinnati Public Library. You could check it out and make copies of the pages you are interested in. Or perhaps try calling Half Price Books. Thank you for your post and hopefully you will find a copy of the book.
