I was looking for Pork base and finally found it at your store but it is cost prohibitive. $10 for 16 oz?? Have you considered Sysco as a better price option versus Minor's? I was able to purchase pork base online at a substantial savings even with shipping.

After speaking with the International Department managers, I have learned that we purchase Minor's products from Nestle's as they are distributed towards shelf sales for a retail store.

Sysco is predominantly geared towards servicing large institutions such as schools, military bases, etc and comes in larger and much more expensive quantities.

I am sure you can find smaller sizes from Sysco but we have settled on providing Minor's brand for all the chefs who come here looking for a little bit of base for that dish they are preparing.

I am sorry our 16 oz container was cost prohibitive for you at $10.95 but my quick online search yielded two other prices for the same size and brand base: $12.95 and $13.95 plus shipping. So that makes us cost friendlier.
