On the recent Sat morning program, they showed a can of caterpillars in brine. I teach survival courses and really enjoy insects of different varieties and I was wondering where these would be located in the store as my Wife and I are planing our monthly foray into the store. Oh, if ya haven't tried it, DURIAN RULES!!<G>

Hello,
I'm writing for a few reasons: 1. Mr. Hann, could you possibly confirm that the caterpillar product you'd described is in a green can [meaning, paper label has mostly-green background color] and is in fact labelled "carterpillars"? 2. Do you have any other insect products for sale? If so what are they, and are they all canned? 3. Might you folks have any recipes or cooking classes that feature either insects or other "extreme cuisine?" For those interested: I own what may be the only edible insect company in the US. |
